Meat Slaughtered by the People of the Book
Question
Is it permissible for a Muslim in Western countries to eat the meat of animals slaughtered by the People of the Book? Some consider it impermissible because they do not follow their true religions. But even in the time of the Prophet ﷺ they did not follow their true religions, and yet at that time their slaughter was declared permissible.
