The Slaughter and Sacrifice of One Who Declares the Deobandis Outside Islam
Question
A man of Barelvi beliefs who considers the Deobandis to be outside Islam: is it permissible or impermissible to eat what he slaughters with his own hand? And may he be included as a partner in the shares of a sacrifice or not?
Answer
Whoever considers the ‘ulama of Deoband to be outside Islam — neither should what he slaughters with his own hand be eaten, nor should he be included as a partner in the shares of a sacrifice; otherwise his own sacrifice, at any rate, will become spoiled and carrion.
