An Animal Slaughtered by a Shi‘i

Question

Is an animal slaughtered by the hand of the Rafidis (Rawafid) valid or not?

Answer

Those Rafidis whose creed contradicts the texts (nusus) — for example, who hold that the Holy Qur’an has been altered (tahrif), or regard Hazrat ‘Ali ﵁ as the prophet of the last age, or hold the belief about Jibril ﵇ that he made a mistake in delivering the revelation, or slander Hazrat ‘A’isha Siddiqa ﵂ — are outside Islam; the animal they slaughter is not halal.
