Joining the imam after sajda al-sahw

Question

A man joined the imam in the tashahhud after sajda al-sahw. Is this following of the imam (iqtida’) valid or not, or will the prayer have to be started anew?

Answer

This iqtida’ is valid; there is no need to start [the prayer] anew after the imam’s salam.
