The Tasbih of Ruku' and Sajda Got Switched
Question
A few days ago, in the 'isha' prayer, in one of the rak'as, when I went down into the first sajda, I said “subhana Rabbiya al-'Azim” three times instead of “subhana Rabbiya al-A'la”; then, while raising my head from the sajda, I said “sami'a Allahu li-man hamidah” and then “Rabbana laka al-hamd”, and, saying “Allahu akbar”, went down into the second sajda. What should be done in such a case?
Answer
Since this was done out of forgetfulness, the prayer did not become fasid (invalid), nor did sajda al-sahw (the prostration of forgetfulness) become necessary.
