The Imam Erred in Sajda al-Sahw: What Should the Followers Do

Question

The imam made an error of forgetfulness (sahw) and performed sajda al-sahw; after that he forgets whether he performed this sajda al-sahw or not; eventually he becomes certain that he did not, and performs sajda al-sahw again. What should the muqtadis (followers) do in such a situation?

Answer

When he gives the salam a second time for sajda al-sahw, the muqtadis should give the salam to both sides and complete their prayer.
