Reciting the Basmala before the Qunut Supplication or al-Tahiyyat

Question

If a person, out of forgetfulness, recites the full basmala (“Bismillah…”) before al-tahiyyat or the qunut supplication, will sajda al-sahw become wajib on the grounds of delaying a wajib, or not? And if he recites it deliberately, what is the ruling?

Answer

Sajda al-sahw will not become wajib because of this; and in the case of deliberate [recitation] the question of sajda al-sahw does not arise at all.
