A qada’ prayer performed with the niyya of ada’

Question

A person performed the Zuhr prayer very late, but he thought that the time of Zuhr (by the reckoning of two shadow-lengths) still remained, so he did not make the niyya of qada’. After performing the prayer he looked at the prayer calendar and learned that by the calendar’s reckoning the time of Zuhr had ended one minute earlier: that is, according to the calendar the time of Zuhr ends at eleven minutes past four, and this person began the prayer (made the niyya) at 4:12.

Answer

The prayer is valid; repeating it (i‘ada) is not necessary.
