The masbuq had not finished the tashahhud when the imam gave the salam

Question

If someone joins the congregation and begins reciting the tashahhud, and at that moment the imam finishes the prayer with the salam, should that person first complete the tashahhud and then stand up, or not?

Answer

He should first complete the tashahhud and then stand up; so it is in “Radd al-Muhtar”.
