Imamate of one with artificial teeth

Question

If the imam wears a denture while the muqtadis have [their own] teeth, does the imam in such a case fall under the definition of a ma‘dhur? Is the imamate of such a person permissible or not?

Answer

Such an imam is not a ma‘dhur; his imamate is proper.
