Appointing someone to say amin aloud to inform the followers

Question

Question: the imam tells Bakr: "My voice does not carry far, so say 'amin' loudly (aloud), so that other people, hearing his 'amin', will say 'amin'" — which is contrary to the Hanafi madhhab. The imam is a weak man. Once, because of the size of the congregation, he said to Bakr: "Say 'amin' aloud so that the rest of the followers come to know." People objected to this. The imam replied: "Bakr is also a follower (muqtadi), and it is permissible for him to say 'amin' aloud.

Answer

What need is there to say amin aloud for such an alert, when according to the Hanafis the sunna is to say amin quietly, and saying it aloud is not sunna? So opening the door to noise and strife by saying it aloud oneself or having some follower say it is not wise. And for the followers to call the imam a non-muqallid merely for saying amin aloud once is not right either.
