Keeping the feet on the ground in sajda

Question

If in the position of sajda both feet are lifted off the ground, will the prayer be valid or not?

Answer

Regarding placing the feet on the ground in sajda there are three narrations. The first: placing both feet on the ground is fard. The second: placing one [of them] is fard. According to these two narrations, in the case asked about the sajda will not be accomplished, and therefore the prayer will not be valid.
