Praying a fard prayer seated on a train

Question

If a train is crowded, is it permissible to pray a fard prayer seated or not?

Answer

If there is no room to stand, he should pray it seated so that [the prayer] is not missed (does not become qada’), and then, on finding room, repeat it (i‘ada) standing.
