Salawat and tasbihs before the adhan

Question

When giving the adhan, is it permissible to say salawat or some tasbihs aloud before the adhan and then begin the adhan, or not? If it is permissible, is it better to give the adhan after reciting salawat or not?

Answer

Salawat and tasbih are matters of great merit and reward, but they are not established before the adhan; therefore do not add them before the adhan.
