Selling a company’s forms
Question
Question: An agency has this method: it sells its printed form for about 10, and the said company gets nothing out of this one and a half anna (a coin worth 1/16 of a rupee) except the form (?). The arrangement is this: Zayd bought a form; on this form there are five boxes from the company, and in each box the name of one person is entered together with an address; in short, on one form the names of five persons are entered with their addresses. The rule of the said company is that whoever buys the form (Zayd)
Answer
The company sold the form to Zayd for 10; these 10 will be the price of the form. Now why does Zayd send the sum of 1 rupee in the name of the person whose name is in box no. 1? And of what thing is this one rupee a counter-value? And the 1024 rupees that Zayd received in the end — why did he receive them, in exchange for what did he receive them?
