Investigation of a Narration About Repentance

Question

Question: I came across a hadith in a book, but its tone and manner of phrasing seemed different from [that of] hadith. I looked in two or three [other] books but could not find it anywhere. If possible, please write what its source (ma’khadh) is: [ar]الشَّابُّ التَّائِبُ التَّارِكُ لِشَهْوَتِهِ لِأَجْلِهِ بِمَنْزِلَةِ مَلَائِكَتِهِ[/ar] “The repentant youth who abandons his desire for His sake is like [one of] His angels.”

Answer

“The repentant youth…”, etc. I have not found this narration with this wording.
