The Meaning of the 'Waqf Ghufran' Mark

Question

In the margin of the Noble Qur’an, here and there, is written “waqf ghufran”. What does this mean?

Answer

It means that pausing (waqf) at this point is correct, and not pausing is also correct; neither is held to account, rather both actions are forgiven (maghfur).
