Giving the Qur'an to Children Without Wudu

Question

What is the ruling on giving the Noble Qur'an to minor children to read, when they do not use water [to cleanse themselves] after urinating?

Answer

This is permissible; however, they should be instructed in the rules of purification (tahara) and gradually accustomed to them.
