Prohibition by Suckling upon the Admission of the Girl’s Mother and the Boy’s Father
Question
A woman who acknowledged before people that she had suckled Zayd, and kept acknowledging it, has now become willing to give her daughter in marriage to Zayd. Will the prohibition by suckling be established by her acknowledgement before people or not? Moreover, Zayd’s father also admits it: “My son drank her milk.”
Answer
Since there is the admission of the girl’s mother and the boy’s father, it is haram for them to marry their children to each other in this way.
