Marriage Between the Children of the Man Who Touched and the Woman Touched

Question

Zayd touched Hinda with desire. May the children of the man who touched (lamis) and of the woman touched (malmusa) marry one another?

Answer

Answer (1) — Mufti Kifayatullah Nikah between the children of these two (the man who touched and the woman touched) cannot take place. Kifayatullah, may Allah be with him. Answer (2) — Qari Sa‘id Ahmad, Mufti A‘zam (chief mufti) of Mazahir al-‘Ulum, Saharanpur Nikah between the children of the man who touched and the woman touched can take place.
