Zina with One’s Paternal Uncle’s Wife

Question

Zayd committed zina (fornication/adultery) with his paternal uncle’s wife Hinda, and the pregnancy is doubtful as to whether it is Zayd’s or that of Zayd’s paternal uncle. Or it became certain that the pregnancy is from one of the two. Now Zayd has married Fatima, the daughter of Hinda’s full brother. Is this permissible or not?

Answer

Through this base act of Zayd and Hinda, the daughter of Hinda’s brother has not become prohibited (haram) to Zayd; marriage to her is valid.
