Performing the Eid Prayer in Two Eidgahs

Question

In our town there have long been two Eidgahs (open grounds for the Eid prayer); the distance between the two Eidgahs is two furlongs. There is also a third Eidgah; between the first two Eidgahs and it there is also a river. This third Eidgah has been in use since the last Eid al-Fitr. Does the merit of praying in the Eidgah that exists in the Shari‘a remain in the situation described or not? And if it does, then in which Eidgah? Please explain.

Answer

That merit still remains, and it is in both.
