Several Eidgahs in One Settlement
Question
In our town there have long been two Eidgahs (open grounds for the Eid prayer); the distance between the two Eidgahs is only two furlongs. And now, at a distance of about one to one and a half miles from these two Eidgahs (with a river in between and a bridge over the river), a third Eidgah has been in use since the last Eid al-Fitr. Two years ago this humble servant was chosen as the qadi of the sub-division — this is done by the government.
Answer
Those which were built for the Eid prayer and made waqf, and the Eid prayer is performed in both places — both are shar‘i Eidgahs.
