Reciting Surah al-Kahf Every Friday

Question

A mawlana stated in his sermon (in Ajmer) that on the day Imam Husayn was martyred (the 10th of Muharram, which fell on a Friday), he was also reciting Surah al-Kahf. It is reported that he even asked his killer to grant him time until he finished reciting Surah al-Kahf and until the Friday prayer. How reliable is the claim that he recited Surah al-Kahf every Friday?

Answer
