Holding Jumu’a in a madrasa to avoid an innovator imam
Question
In the small town of Bhikangaon there is a mosque all of whose committee members are innovators (mubtadi‘), and most of these innovators do not regard people of the Deobandi creed as Muslims. We cannot carry out any kind of tabligh either, because they do not even consider [us] Muslims — how then would they listen to or accept our word? In this small town there is a madrasa which they call a Deobandi madrasa, and in reality the madrasa is indeed that.
Answer
If everyone is permitted to come into the madrasa [and] the door stays open, then Jumu’a may be performed there as well.
