The khatib stating an immediate ruling in Urdu during the khutba

Question

May the khatib, while delivering the khutba, admonish someone in Urdu in the middle of it? For example, one of the muqtadis (followers) has fallen asleep and [the khatib] says to him, “Do not sleep”; or someone’s wudu has been broken and he keeps sitting, and [the khatib] tells him to make wudu, and the like.

Answer

The khatib may state a brief ruling needed at that moment in Urdu as well.
