Placing pages of the Qur’an in the grave

Question

A man picked up worn-out pages of the Qur’an that had fallen and were lying about in various places, cleaned them and kept them. Now he wishes to leave a bequest that they be placed somewhere beside him in his grave. Will it be correct to carry out this bequest of his?

Answer

A niche should be made in the grave and they should be placed in it wrapped in a clean cloth, so that earth does not fall on them and they are not in contact with the body of the deceased.
