Retrieving a banknote or the like that has fallen into a grave

Question

If, while the deceased is being buried, some valuable item — a banknote or the like — falls inside the grave, is it permissible on the following day to dig up the grave and look for it here and there?

Answer

A banknote or any such thing left in the grave by mistake may be carefully retrieved. The deceased must by no means be moved, nor should his shroud be opened to look.
