The orientation relative to the qibla was reversed in the funeral prayer

Question

The funeral prayer was led over the bier of a woman whose head was toward the south and whose feet were toward the north. Was it valid or not?

Answer

If by mistake the head of the bier was toward the south and the feet toward the north, and the prayer was led over it in that position, then that too is valid; there is no need to perform it again.
