Whose Ummah Are the Hindus, Jews, Christians and Jinn

Question

Whose ummah will the human beings and jinn of the whole world be called, that is, in whose ummah are the Jews, the Christians and the Hindus?

Answer

The Prophet ﷺ was sent as a prophet to all the jinn and human beings who will come into existence until the Day of Judgement. Upon the Jews, the Christians and the Hindus — upon all of them — lies the obligation to believe in the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Those who believe are called the ummat al-ijabah (the community of those who responded).
