A Hajj Journey by Bus with Visits to Shrines

Question

Is it permissible according to the noble Shari‘a to perform Hajj to the House of Allah by the method of Hajj travel described in the newspaper Siyasat (“Politics”) dated 2 December 60 AH?

Answer

By purchasing a ticket from Kanpur to Ajmer Sharif, one can use it to visit, very cheaply and easily, Delhi, Ajmer, Agra, Jaipur, Fatehpur Sikri, Bombay, Basra, Baghdad, Karbala al-Mu‘alla, Najaf al-Ashraf, al-Kazimayn al-Sharif, Kufa, Bayt al-Maqdis, Jeddah, Makkah al-Mu‘azzama, Ta’if al-Sharif and Madinah al-Munawwara.
