Whom to Take Along When Going for Hajj: Father, Mother or Wife

Question

I am going for Hajj. What I wish to ask is: which of my mother, my wife and my father has the prior right to be taken along with me?

Answer

It is better that you take your respected mother with you: God knows whether a mahram will be available to her later to travel with her or not. Otherwise, you may take with you whichever of your respected father and your wife you wish.
