Putting Cotton in the Ears and Cloth over the Feet in Ihram

Question

Is it permissible in the state of ihram to wrap cloth around the feet, when this is because of the cold or because of pain in the feet? May one put cotton in the ears because of the cold or for some other reason, or not?

Answer

It is permissible — both covering the feet with a sheet and the like, and putting cotton inside the ears; but the use of perfume is not allowed.
