Keeping a Stitched Pouch in Ihram

Question

When pilgrims put on ihram, it is only sheets of cloth, and wearing stitched clothes is forbidden; but keeping money safe in such a state is difficult. If it is kept in a stitched pouch, is this correct or not, and will a dam not become wajib for it? Also, if one keeps it in a pouch made of threads which is not stitched, or keeps it in a plastic bag and keeps that with him — what is the ruling on keeping money inside such pouches in the state of ihram? Kindly state the ruling on all three cases.

Answer

It is permissible for the muhrim to keep it in all three of these ways.
