The Hajj Journey with the Husband of a Foster (Milk) Daughter

Question

If a woman goes on the Hajj journey with the husband of a woman whom she breastfed — since no other man is ready to travel — while that breastfed woman is also going for Hajj in the same caravan, is there anything objectionable in it?

Answer

As long as a husband or a mahram is not with her, travelling for Hajj is makruh. Breastfeeding a child is no bar to the journey. If a woman breastfed some girl, that girl became her foster (milk) daughter, and her husband became a son-in-law; marriage with him is not valid, and travelling with such a son-in-law is correct.
