Answer
(1) Concerning Eid al-Adha, the Shari‘a has prescribed rulings: it is the Day of Sacrifice (yawm al-nahr); having spent the night in Muzdalifa, in the morning, on reaching Mina, pebbles are thrown at the Shaytan, the head is shaved, the sacrifice is offered, and tawaf al-ziyara is performed. Because of these occupations even the Eid prayer is lifted from the pilgrim.
