Greater love for one of two wives

Question

Rafiq has two wives, and he loves one wife more. Then on the Day of Resurrection one part of him will be fallen. The question is: will the lower part be fallen or the upper? Or are there some conditions in this?

Answer

If his love for one wife is greater, but in maintenance (nafaqa) and in living together (muʿashara) he treats both equally, then there is no punishment for him.
