Using the proceeds of jhatka meat
Question
Question: Here, fat-tailed sheep are supplied to us officially (by the government), and they are killed by jhatka (killing the animal with a single blow rather than by Shar‘i slaughter), and part of the meat is sold. Then a fund was formed from this (the proceeds), from which other cooking items are bought, and all of them are used in the cooking. Now the question is: the meat was jhatka, and things were bought with this money — what is the ruling on eating from this share?
Answer
If the jhatka meat was sold to a non-Muslim and the money was given to you, then this is permissible for you.
