Medical examination for employment

Question

Zayd is employed by the municipality to teach the science of tajwid, the Qur’an and the essentials of religion, or in some other department; this person is also a scholar (ʿalim) and is not suffering from any kind of illness. The municipality ordered him to undergo a medical examination.

Answer

Undergoing and performing a medical examination in this manner is impermissible. To uncover for this purpose the part of the body whose covering is fard, to show it to a non-mahram and to let him touch it with his hand is never, ever permissible.
