Performing shows wearing a loincloth four fingers wide

Question

Here the Nat people (itinerant acrobats) put on games and shows. These people perform wearing a loincloth four fingers wide; a drum keeps beating, and they ask for a reward for it. Is this permissible or not?

Answer

Uncovering the ʿawra in front of people, performing shows wearing a loincloth four fingers wide, dancing, beating the drum and asking for a reward for it — all of this is impermissible. All of them are sinners: those who perform the show, those who watch it and those who give money for it; repentance is incumbent upon all of them.
