Exercising with the ʿawra exposed

Question

Zayd practises wrestling, but his ʿawra remains exposed — only a loincloth stays over the front and rear private parts. During exercise this also happens in seclusion. What is the ruling about this?

Answer

Exercising in this way in seclusion is not prohibited; but uncovering the ʿawra in this way in front of people is not permissible.
