Looking at one’s wife’s ʿawra

Question

What is the ruling on looking at one’s wife’s ʿawra? Kindly also explain the details of the inner and outer ʿawra.

Answer

It is permitted; however, in the narration of Hazrat ʿAʾisha ﵂ it is stated: [ar]وما رأى مني وما رأيت منه، الحديث[/ar] “He did not see of me, nor did I see of him” (the hadith).
