A metal strap on a watch

Question

What is the ruling on fitting a wristwatch with a strap of steel, rolled gold or some other metal? And what is the ruling on performing or leading the prayer while wearing such a strap?

Answer

It is correct, and the prayer with it is also valid: this is not jewellery.
