On which hand should a watch be worn?

Question: Some people wear a watch on the right hand instead of the left, and some people on the right hand. On which hand is it better to wear a watch?

Answer

Is wearing a watch on a particular hand a distinguishing mark (shi‘ar) of others? If so, it should be avoided; otherwise, wear it on whichever of the two the heart wishes.
