Using georgette

Question

Question: Is it permissible or not to have girls and women, while they are staying inside the house, put on headscarves of fine net georgette?

Answer

Those on whom covering the ʿawra is fard may not use any cloth by which the ʿawra is not covered. In the case of little girls, even though this difficulty does not exist, when the habit of using such cloth forms in childhood, it will become hard to refrain from it; therefore they too should not be made to use it.
