Wearing the present-day shirt

Question

Question: Can wearing the kind of shirt that is worn nowadays in any way become a cause of being taken to account in the Hereafter?

Answer

Wearing such a shirt in itself is not a cause of being taken to account, especially in a region where this is the common dress. However, adopting sunna dress is what following the sunna requires, and to abandon it and wear the prevalent shirt means being deprived of a great virtue.
