Buying a house from a trader who does not pay zakat

Question

In these parts Muslim traders mostly do not pay zakat, and their dealings are not clean. Is it better to buy food, clothing and the like from such a trader, or is it better to buy from a Hindu?

Answer

Buying from the Muslim is better, so long as it is not definitely known that he is selling something haram.
