Addressing the Prophet ﷺ in Verse
Question
If someone recites the following quatrain with the belief that the angels appointed by Allah the Exalted to carry the salawat to the Prophet’s ﷺ presence and present it there will present this quatrain on his behalf in the Prophet’s ﷺ presence — is there no shirk or sin of any kind in reciting it thus, given that he does not recite it before anyone but recites it in private so that the belief of the common people is not corrupted?
Answer
Alongside this it is also necessary to hold the belief that the Prophet ﷺ cannot of himself (without the command of God) solve anyone’s difficulty; rather, he too is in need of God the Exalted in every matter. However, through his blessing (baraka) and for his sake Allah the Pure sets right many affairs of His servants and brings them into accord with what is sought.
