“If I eat what so-and-so has cooked, then may I eat swine”
Question
Question: A man resolved concerning a woman: “If I eat any food and the like, cooked or raw, from her hand, then may I eat swine.” What is the ruling now if food from her hand is eaten?
Answer
Saying such a thing is highly senseless and ignorance, but no oath came about through it. Therefore, if he eats what she has cooked, the expiation (kaffara) for an oath will not become due.
