Appointing as teacher a person who reviles the scholars of truth

Question

Zayd also incites people, as a result of which strife has already occurred among the Muslims, and there is still fear of strife on his part. Before this, Zayd was also the imam of this same congregational mosque. In his speeches he calls those associated with the Madrasa Dar al-‘Ulum Wahhabis and kafirs. He has already spread great agitation and provocation, because of which he was removed from the mosque.

Answer

In the hadith of Ibn Sirin ﵀ in “Sunan Abi Dawud” it is stated: “This knowledge is religion, so look and consider from whom you take your religion.” As the one who teaches the knowledge of religion is, so will be his influence on those who study, for children absorb the influence of their teacher and are coloured in his colour.
